FBRD Study Center

The charity foundation Fundação Beneficente Rio Doce – FBRD believes that committed health professionals seeking to improve their technical and managerial skills responsibly are one of the primary cornerstones for the improvement of health services offered to our customers. We aim at excellence in the care of Human Life.

In 2018, the foundation created the FBRD Study Center with the purpose to systematically provide access to local study and promote research. The Center is recognized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health; therefore, the Rio Doce Hospital is accredited as a Teaching Hospital, offering Medical Residency Programs.

The goal of the Medical Residency and Health Professional Residency programs is full professional training. The programs also contribute to the fulfillment of the Hospital mission, besides promoting the improvement and qualification of Rio Doce Hospital services.

Currently, the charity foundation Fundação Beneficente Rio Doce – FBRD is the only institution in the northern region of the state of Espírito Santo to have accreditation to offer vacancies for the Medical Residency and Multi-professional Health Residency Programs.
